~~~ 1842 Sep 5:  … N. G. Golden. Bond. Pack 249 #31. Clerk of Court Office. Pickens, S.C. We N. G. Golden and P. Alexander of Pickens Dist. are bound uno Elias Lotts in the sum of sixty eight dollars, the said bond or bill of attachment dated 5 Sept. 1842. Whereas the sd. bound N. G. Golden hath this day sued out a writ of attachment against the said Elias Lotts before W. L. Keith, CC for the Dist. aforesaid. Now the condition of the obligation is such that is sd. N. G. Golden shall satisfy and pay Elias Lotts and discontinue his sd. suit also all damages which shall be recovered of illegally sueing. Signed N. G. Golden, seal. P. Alexander, seal. … I have few records on Alexanders but they are plentiful in the Pickens and Easley area, even today. A Morgan cousin raves about how the Alexanders have been with our families almost forever — but am unable to find how we directly connect. Whether the two Moore lines were related and a connection between the Golden and Norton families is unknown.
