~~~~~~
All William and Nellie Golden lines have DNA links to branches of the Godin family, ‘dit’ which is French for lso known as’ the families of Gaudin and Chatillon.
These DNA matches can be found in four locations: France, Canada (Acadia and Quebec), Louisiana and South Carolina. Some DNA matches can also be made by searching for the Michaux French Hugenot family of Manakin, Virginia. Despite vast distances between these locations, there is a logical and historical reason how all belong to same French family in the late 1500s.
