Numerous DNA matches exist with the Kilgore family on my paternal side. Can find no intermarriages with Kilgores. However, there is a Virginia branch of Kilgores that intermarried with the Vawter family. It can be that the Kilgore matches and our Goldens are carrying Vawter DNA.
