Several Christchurch Parish records of Middlesex, Virginia interchangeably use ‘Golden’ and ‘Golder’ and ‘Goalder’, as regards, Thomas Golden between 1700-1710.
Goalder
There are living Goalder family today in the Virginia region, with roots that reach back to the 1700s.
Have repeatedly done DNA match searches on both Ancestry, 23andMe, and MyHeritage with no positive results for either matches named ‘Goalder’ or with a Goalder in the match’s tree.
Goulder
Some atDNA matches exist with Goulder families on MyHeritage. Several of the families are recurring in the specific Goulders in the tree. All families are either English or immigrated to New York pre-1750.
