    : Two Gouldman males are yDNA tested. These are from a branch several generations later, with virtually no documentation indicating direct Gouldman male line descent. These yDNA tests would be descendants of Francis’ brother Edward.   • Birth: 1658 is the commonly accepted year of birth, but no evidence for that. There is no known document that ever gives Francis’ age.
  • Death: After 7 July 1716 and before 21 Nov 1716.
  • Spouse: Mary Meador, c1660-1617.
  • Children:

  • Military: Probably served in local militia. Rank of Captain was most likely an honorary title due to service in Virginia’s House of Burgesses.
