PORT LAVACA – Mr. and Mrs Eldon Arlie Smith of Port Lavaca announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter Betty Ann to Airman 1.C. Charles Ray Golden, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Roosevelt Golden of Birmingham Ala.
The bride-elect is a May graduate of Calhoun High School and is currently employed with General Telephone Co. The prospective Bridegroom is a 1965 graduate of Lownes County High School and is stationed at Matagorda Island AFB.
The wedding will take place July 26 at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church la Port Lavaca at 7 p.m.
