Is not uncommon for ‘Catherine’ to be spelt as ‘Chatherine’, not that there are not already many ways to spell the name otherwise. Perhaps to save ink and paper, many abbreviations are used for both names and other things … Overall this book is super indexed in that this PDF book contains the registry of life events in the parish as well as an index at the end of the book.
