29 Feb 1805 — a parcel of land being sold references its location as being adjacent to Thomas Golden and William Golden‘s land. One witness was William Cotney who married William and Nelly’s daughter Margaret Frances Golden (aka Mary Frances Golden), 1784–1875.

Sarah Edwards to Benjamin Forkner, Deed, 25 February 1805, $100, sixty seven acres lying on Beaver Dam Creek from Thomas Goldens Spring Branch binding on Joel Etheridges land and William Golden. Wit William Calney [Catney?], Thomas Harris. /s/ Sarah (x) Edwards. Proven 21 March 1805 by Thomas Harrison; Elkanah Sawyer J.P. Rec 25 March 1805.
