John and William Golden, Queens, New York join the fight in 1776

Golding / Golden / Goulding et al Family History on Facebook

John and William Golden were Revolutionary War soldiers from Queens County, New York who joined as enlisted men on July 23, 1776 as part of Captain Mannee’s Company, which belonged to Colonel Josiah Smith’s Militia Regiment.

While they are listed as Irish settlers in New York, I do not know their family history nor does the book provide any such history.
